Before your stay at La Charmante

Because a successful stay begins with clear information, here are some useful details to help you prepare for your visit.

The goal is not to overwhelm you with a 15-page policy, but simply to avoid unpleasant surprises and small misunderstandings that can sometimes spoil a vacation.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

If you think you will arrive later, it’s best to let us know before we head out to enjoy our evening!

Check-out is by 11:30 AM.

Breakfast

When breakfast is included in your stay, it consists of:

Bread, butter, jam, homemade yogurt, juice, and always a few extras (cakes, pound cake, cheese…)

Simple, good, and sufficient to recharge before a day of exploring the Vosges!

Guest Rooms

In our guest rooms, everything is provided:

Sheets, duvets and blankets, pillows, and towels

You just need to drop off your luggage and enjoy your stay.

Unusual Accommodations

Our unusual accommodations work differently. For these types of accommodations only, no bedding or toilet facilities are provided.

It is therefore up to travelers to bring:

Sheets or sleeping bags

Blankets

Towels

The principle is simple: you bring your essentials, and we take care of the setting and the change of scenery!

Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is not included in the reservation price and must be paid upon arrival.

Damages

We do not require a security deposit. However, an inventory may be carried out after each departure. Any damage, breakage, or deterioration may be charged.

Cancellation and Modification

All reservations become firm 12 days before your arrival.

From this date onward, no cancellations or modifications to the stay can be accepted.

Cyclists

Bicycles can be parked in a closed and covered shelter.

This space is provided free of charge but is not secure. Each cyclist remains responsible for their equipment.

In addition, no bicycle is allowed in the rooms or accommodations, regardless of its value, even if your bike is worth more than your car!

Water Bodies

Rivers and water bodies are not secured or monitored; you are responsible for yourself and especially for YOUR CHILDREN!

Animals

There are dogs and cats here. Therefore, we cannot accept outside animals for everyone’s peace of mind.

We prefer to answer ten questions before your stay rather than find out upon your arrival that you thought there would be a jacuzzi, a butler, or a tame bear in the forest.

Unfortunately, times are changing, and the increase in acts of rudeness or verbal aggression forces us to set access conditions to our home.

Here, the client is respected; please do the same with those who open the doors for you. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your stay.
